The Aswad Group Inc has formed by the founder Executive Chairman Mr.M.A.Mannan who has birth origin from a village in Bihar which comes in jharkhand today after division of state near to Bhagalpur called Godda District Village called Pakaria. He belongs to a Zamindar Family there and have their own village. Being son of Late Dr.M.Abdul Gaffor who has been serving as a doctor in that particular village he has worked very hard for his studies and came upto this level today. He has top the competition exam in Bihar and further he got awarded scholarship from President Zakir Hussain by which he has studied his Complete Civil Engineering Degree From REC College in Srinagar in Jammu & Kashmir.
After completing his studies from college he has been selected for Gammon India as a Junior Engineer in the Year 1975 further he has worked for Patna Bridge and then posted to Baroda Petroleum Refinery then further to Super thermal Power Station in Corba in M.P which comes today in C.G. after division of states further he has posted for aqueduct and dams project under Gammon India Ltd in Nagaland & Assam. Like wise he has worked for around 14 years in Gammon India Ltd and given delivery of most Prestigious Projects in India and overseas.
Since he has posted to Gammon in Year 1975 the Aswad Group Inc has took birth at that time onwards and used to do small quantum Projects. As being Director for 12 years in Gayatri Projects Ltd he has handled complete north India under his Leadership and further developed the company from Rs.40.00 crs Projects in hand to Rs.4000.00 crs of total work in hand when he has left out Gayatri Projects Ltd in the Year 2005. Since then he has been completely Concentratin on the Aswad Infrastructures Ltd as an Executive Chairman and further the business has diversified today into different sectors.

Experience in India :
Worked in M/s. Gammon India Ltd. in 1974, one of the most reputed company of
India . Expertise in Pre -Stress bridges, high rise structures, powerhouse, hydel & thermal, powerhouse, dams, canal systems & structures.
Period of experience :
From 1973 to 1974July worked as a design engineer under Lift Irrigation under
Kashmir Government -The Ganga bridge at Patna and is the longest bridge in Asia spread over 7kms width prestress bridge that includes well foundations, pre-castspan in segment, pre-stressing, launching of segment in water From 1976 to 1977 was involved in construction of dam and in the same year construction of Petrochemical projects in the Gujarat Refinery.
International experience Tripoli, Libya :
From 1977 to 1980 worked as a Project Engineer for thermal power station
From 1980 to 2005 : Have acquired experience of big projects which included
planning, project execution , material management, financial management, technical aspects, liaisoning for work, procurement as well as liaisoning with high level technocrats, politicians and administrative sections in different states .Under my leadership many projects like bridges, dams, canals systems, drinking water system, Hydro projects, thermal projects, National Highways with the latest technology and
equipment in India have been completed .
Besides the project have attended many seminars as a company consulting representative for the longest canal system of India and concern to road projects. Represented the State government for the future development of the infrastructures.
Present Status :
Working as an Executive Director for Gayatri Projects Limited. For the last
12 years have worked for many prestigious projects such as National Highway, canal systems. Have handled indipendantly the entire
management of the company organisation at the site.
Have handled all the financial aspects that the organization has entrusted me with. Currently the company is having a project worth Rs.4000 crores and i am entrustedwith the responsibility of tendering and site investigating for the Rs.2000 crores of work in recent month.
Ready to promote the business in India in collaboration to any international or multinational Company. Have the ability to work independently to implement simultaneous projects in India or abroad.
Currently involved in developing the Aswad Construction Co., a premier company which has recently completed.
A four lane of Jabalpur Road work. A few simultaneous projects taken care by us at very often Aswad include canal work of NVADA (Bargi diversion) with APR Hyderabad, besides the Bhopal-Dewas four lane road work taking place on an immediate basis.
Other Achievements:
Have given the concept of Crisis Management to the Govt. Of Gujarat during the Devastating earthquake which took place in 2001. Have been association with big companies such as JSR & KCL and in consulting GPL very often.
